Thank you for your interest in this project.   I’m honored you visited the site and hope you enjoy your journey through the 25 Drams of Christmas. 

As mentioned in the cover letter, each of the 25 drams is labeled with a number on the cap.  The number represents the December date the information on that sip will be released.   As an example, information about the dram with the number 14 on its cap will be available on 12:01a on December 14th and will stay up and open for a few months.  [Dram “6” is highlighted green (and covered with a piece of tape) to differentiate it from number nine].

The idea is to allow you to blind taste a variety of whiskies; but, if you wish, you may choose to learn about the dram before you sip.  Of course, when (or even if) you sip is up to you.  You may partake each day as December progresses, drink them all the day you get them, or wait until February.  It is your gift, use it as you wish. 

The dram information page is functionally a blog, and as such allows comments; I hope you will add your thoughts – good and bad – about the different drams.  While it wasn’t the intention, you may not like every expression of the project, and for that, I apologize in advance.
